Founders Associate to the CFO/COO (Working Student, all genders)

Your mission

You are the right hand of our COO/CFO and the interface between Finance, Legal, People, and the rest of the company. Where topics fall between functions, you pick them up and carry them to done.


  • You are the interface between the COO/CFO and the teams: you translate decisions into tasks, chase open points, and make sure nothing disappears between two areas of responsibility.
  • You prepare the basis for decisions that end up in leadership meetings: analyses, competitive benchmarks, market data.
  • You own your own projects end-to-end, across Finance, Legal, and People — and carry them past the first obstacle.
  • You automate and improve processes that today run manually and awkwardly. W
  • You prepare meetings with shareholders, our advisory board, and external partners, and you track outcomes and next steps.
  • You bring your own ideas to the table — unprompted. We're not looking for a pair of hands, but for someone who thinks beyond the task and starts things.

Your profile

  • You're ideally enrolled in a Master's programme — business, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, or a field that taught you to calculate and to argue.
  • You bring relevant first practical experience: internships or working-student roles in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, corporate finance, a startup, or a comparable environment.
  • You work cleanly in Excel and build materials that don't need you standing next to them to be understood.
  • You bring real startup drive: you want to build, not administer, and you get faster when things get tight, not slower.
  • You think beyond the task — you see the problem behind the assignment and propose a solution no one asked for.
  • You handle confidential information with maturity. 
  • You meet deadlines — and you flag early when you won't.
  • Strong German and English.
  • 16 to 20 hours per week, ideally for at least two semesters. 

Nice to have, not required: Experience building financial or reporting models. Involvement in an entrepreneurship or investment initiative at your university.

Our hiring process

  1. Intro interview — we get to know each other, and you learn where we stand and where we are heading.
  2. Case study or technical study, depending on the role — a real problem from our day-to-day that we work through together.
  3. Interview with your future manager and, depending on the position, with our founders.
From the first conversation to a decision takes at most two weeks. And you will hear from us either way — including when it is not a fit this time.
