Your mission

You work directly with our People Performance & Culture Manager — the first people role in the company. You are the operational relief that keeps the build-up of the function from suffocating in administration.


  • You maintain our people data in Personio: master data, contracts, absences, time tracking 
  • You draft contracts, contract amendments, certificates, and references from templates.
  • You support preparatory payroll: collecting data, sanity-checking it, assembling the documents for our tax advisor and DATEV. 
  • You run onboarding and offboarding operationally: checklists, equipment, access, scheduling.
  • You support recruiting administratively: scheduling, candidate communication, applicant tracking hygiene.
  • You keep personnel files clean and GDPR-compliant.
  • You take on small process-improvement projects 

Your profile

  • You're an enrolled student, ideally in HR, business, psychology, or business law — though your way of working matters more to us than your major.
  • You work conscientiously and precisely. 
  • You treat sensitive data as absolutely confidential. 
  • You work independently. Your manager is building an entire function and cannot hold your hand.
  • You're confident in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • You communicate warmly and reliably, even when reminding someone about the same document for the third time.
  • Fluent German, good English.
  • 16 to 20 hours per week, predictable and dependable.

Our hiring process

  1. Intro interview — we get to know each other, and you learn where we stand and where we are heading.
  2. Case study or technical study, depending on the role — a real problem from our day-to-day that we work through together.
  3. Interview with your future manager and, depending on the position, with our founders.
From the first conversation to a decision takes at most two weeks. And you will hear from us either way — including when it is not a fit this time.
